Baby's First Year & Maternity Photography Collections

The first year of your baby’s life is a time where great changes take place, both in the lives of parents and the baby. To help you record this time I have developed a photographic collection that incorporates 4 or 5 photo sessions spaced apart at the developmental milestones of your baby’s growth. All four baby sessions include six 8 x 6 inch prints and take about an hour in the studio, session five takes about 1.5 hours, home visits can also be arranged.*

I like to work with your creativity so if you have any ideas of your own I am happy to included them. Bring any interesting outfits for session 1, also baby lying on Mum or Dads chest, or in Dads hands looks great too. We can combine any toys you bring or a brightly coloured ball / trolley / trike / a sit in toy car is good for session 3/4, a teddy or a favourite doll, coloured building blocks or a hat or adult shoes etc for sessions 2/3/4, the studio also has many props you can use.

Studio session 1 timed to coincide when the baby is first born, the studio has a baby poser which allows me to place baby in a safe and comfortable position.

Maternity (maternity or pregnancy photography). This is a relatively short but special time in a couple’s life; my aim is to capture the many different aspects of this time, from the anticipation and body’s change, to the love and tenderness between the parents. Both Mum and Dad are included, normally within the last 2 months of pregnancy, to produce memorable iconic photographs £125-00

The timing of these sessions is not fixed, as all babies develop at different rates, so I rely on you to let me know when you and baby are ready for each session.

*For a home visit please add £40 to any session, this covers the cost of removing and setting up the studio lighting and equipment and travelling costs and covers a 20 mile radius from the studio in Plymouth, if you live further away than this and wish to have a home photo session please ring the studio.
